The DJ and co-producer of Primal Scream's 1991 LP Screamadelica will release the record under his own name on September 21.
A message on The Rotters Golf Club website stated that Weatherall had used the album to explore "the integration of the substrata of rock 'n' roll with modernistic electronics".
It added: "Taking sonic cues from his status as a dance, techno and house master, he skilfully acknowledges his grandly professed love of rockabilly, soul and toots rock from the golden years of the last century."
Weatherall has previously recorded albums with Jagz Kooner and Gary Burns as The Sabres of Paradise, and with Keith Tenniswood as Two Lone Swordsmen.
