As previously reported, Yorke talked in a recent interview about his "hatred of CDs", saying that "the music business was waiting to die". The 'Nude' singer also revealed that the Oxfordshire band may consider only releasing EPs and singles in the foreseeable future, instead of full-length albums.
However, rapper Stryder told the Daily Star: "[Albums are] not dead. The album is still the most important thing to me because it's a whole body of work.
"I grew up looking forward to everything about it, the booklet, the artwork, the track order. I spent ages making sure my album was worth buying. The most important thing when making music is quality."
The 22-year-old added: "Maintaining that quality and making sure you are producing something worth investing in is still what it's about."
Stryder's new album Catch 22 is available from next Monday.
