Sugababes have insisted that they don't mind being compared to fellow girlband Girls Aloud.
The trio, who release new single 'Get Sexy' on August 31, claimed that the media have fabricated stories of a "war" between the two groups.
"Ever since we started there have been comparisons," singer Keisha Buchanan told DS.
"In the beginning it was always All Saints, but as far as we're concerned it's important to have healthy competition and we have a lot of respect for Girls Aloud. There's no war, despite what some people might like to believe."
Amelle Berrabah added: "I've bumped into Sarah Harding quite a lot over the last few months.
"I'm actually meant to be going out with her tonight which is exciting, because we usually end up having a pretty mad time!"
The two bands previously paired up to record Aerosmith's 'Walk This Way' for Comic Relief, which reached number one in March 2007.
