As previously reported, a song suspected by many to be new material by the band titled 'These Are My Twisted Words' leaked online earlier this week.
Fans have now noticed that certain elements of the file and code attached to the track include the words "wall", "of" and "ice". These words also feature in a mysterious poem that accompanied the song when it was originally uploaded to what.cd earlier this month.
Having used a similar model for the release of their last album In Rainbows - creating a website based on the title of the release – follow-up investigations have discovered that www.wallofice.com leads directly to Radiohead's online merchandise store.
These developments are lent further weight by Yorke's recent affirmation that the group are no longer interested in releasing conventional albums and his revelation in a recent interview that "we've got this great idea for putting things out but I can't tell you what it is, because someone will rip it off".
According to reports on Pitchfork, the leak of 'These Are My Twisted Words' was a deliberate clue on the part of the band to hint that an EP release is imminent and that Radiohead's merchandise site has been set up to receive the orders via wallofice.com.
