Sugababes: 'New single was an accident'
Sugababes have claimed that the inspiration for their new single 'Get Sexy' came "by accident".

The girlband created the song with music producers The Smeezingtons on a recent trip to the US, where they also worked with RedOne, Ne-Yo and Sean Kingston.

'Get Sexy' pays tribute to the classic Right Said Fred track 'I'm Too Sexy', featuring the lyrics: "I'm too sexy in this club, too sexy in this club, so sexy it hurts."

Speaking to Teletext, bandmember Keisha Buchanan explained: "The producers were messing around going, 'I'm too sexy for the studio'. We were like, 'That sounds cool', and [the producer] said, 'You remember that Right Said Fred song?'

"We were like, 'Do you think we can do it?' By accident it came together."

'Get Sexy' will be released on August 31. The trio's seventh studio album will follow in November.
