Jade Ewen: I'd duet with Taio Cruz'

Jade Ewen has revealed that she is friends with fellow musician Taio Cruz and would be interested in performing a duet with him.

The UK entrant in this year's Eurovision Song Contest told Closer that she used to spend time with Cruz in Fulham, West London.

Ewen said: "I've known Taio, who's rapping on Cheryl Cole's new single, for three or four years.

"I used to be in a girl group called Trinity Stone, and we ended up in the same recording studio as Taio. He was always roaming around the place with a guitar in his hands."

She added: "I'd never rule out a duet with Taio, but it would have to be the right song.

"I don't want my music to be me just guesting on somebody else's track. I want it to be a reflection of me. I prefer to stand up on my own."
