Calvin beats Tinchy to albums No. 1

Calvin Harris has debuted at the top of the albums chart, beating competition from Tinchy Stryder and ending Michael Jackson's two-month reign at the summit.

The Scottish dance star's second record Ready For The Weekend outdid Stryder's sophomore release Catch 22 in the race to the number one spot. Harris's first album I Created Disco debuted at number eight in 2007.

Jackson's Essential compilation falls to six after eight weeks at number one.
