The Enemy question Lady GaGa gender

Rex Features

The Enemy raised questions about Lady GaGa's gender during their set at V Festival in Chelmsford yesterday.

The band, who performed on the 4Music stage while the 'Poker Face' singer played to massive crowds in The Arena, asked fans whether she did in fact have male genitalia.

"Just a question," singer Tom Clarke said after playing 'No Time For Tears'. "Has GaGa got a penis, who knows?"

Earlier this year, Lady GaGa was forced to quash speculation that she was a transvestite and insisted: "I really am a lady!"

The Enemy performed a set including 'Sing When You're In Love', 'Away From Here' and
'We'll Live And Die In These Towns'.
