Group member Tim Kellett admitted that he hoped the 22-year-old rapper would "return the favour" and feature on Olive's upcoming third album, due out next year.
"He's definitely on my wish list, but I haven't fully got into negotiations on that one yet. It would be fantastic, but I'll have to see whether he would be interested," he told DS.
"It would boil down to me getting the right track for him and if it feels right, he might be tempted. I'm certainly going to have a go at least, but it won't be the end of the world if he decides not to."
Kellett went on to praise Stryder for reaching out to a broad audience with his new album Catch 22.
"I really admire how he has crossed over so many different boundaries and I think that is part of his appeal and why he's been successful," he added.
"There's something quite likeable about him. His version of 'You're Not Alone' really sucks you in. I've heard so many attempts at the song but this one seems like a really relevant take on it."
Olive reached number one with 'You're Not Alone' in 1997 and picked up the best dance music gong at the Ivor Novello Awards. Their debut album Extra Virgin shifted 500,000 copies.
