Diana Vickers has said that the effort she has put into her debut album is all worth it.
In her official mailout, the X Factor semi-finalist said that she is working nonstop on the album at the moment because rehearsals for her role in The Rise and Fall of Little Voice start next month.
Vickers said: "I'm soo dam excited about this album I can't actually contain myself! The other day I worked with Savan [Kotecha] he's such a credible songwriter slash producer! (sic).
"We recorded a song which he wrote called 'Sharks' and I fell in love with it the moment I heard it! I'm so chuffed it's mine! Muahaha!"
She added: "That was a fun and long day as I'd been giggin in Ireland the night before, finished the gigs at 1 and had to wake up for the airport at 4.30 and then straight into studio! All worth it though!"
Last month, Vickers confirmed the online leak of new song 'Jumping Into Rivers', before it became available on her official website.
