Mini Viva flattered by Cheryl Cole praise

New pop duo Mini Viva have revealed that they were flattered when Cheryl Cole praised their debut single 'Left My Heart In Tokyo'.

The chart newcomers bumped into the Girls Aloud star while they were recording at the Kent studios of production team Xenomania.

Group member Frankee Connolly told DS: "She said she'd heard our song on the radio on the way to Xenomania and loved it, which was amazing to hear."

Her bandmate Britt Love added: "She looks even better in real life than she does on the telly. She's so small as well - she's like a little Mini Viva herself!"

Meanwhile, Cole was not the only popstar Mini Viva encountered while working at the Xenomania studios.

"We saw Alexandra Burke there too and said a quick hello," said Love. "She's a nice girl."

"And Alesha Dixon, she cracks me up. I love her cackle!" added Connolly.

Mini Viva release 'Left My Heart In Tokyo' on September 7.
