Noel quit the band last week after reports of a violent altercation with Liam backstage at the Rock en Seine festival in Paris. The guitarist later explained the reasons for his decision, revealing that he had suffered "verbal and violent intimidation" from his sibling and that the atmosphere within the group had become "intolerable".
However, Flowers is convinced that the brothers should endeavour to resolve their issues so they can continue working together, according to Contactmusic.
He said: "[It's] such a shame. They were a great band, iconic. The brothers should deal with their problems. The ones who pay are the fans."
