Lil Wayne, 50 Cent 'for VH1 doc'

One of the network's longest-running programmes, the show first aired in 1997 and consists of a one-hour documentary that focusses on the careers of music's biggest artists. The new season is expected to begin on September 10 and will include spotlights on rap stars Lil Wayne, 50 Cent and T.I.
According to HipHopDX, the series will commence with the 'Lollipop' star. VH1 revealed that the interview features Lil Wayne speaking candidly about his upbringing and desire for fame.
Meanwhile, the episode featuring 50 Cent is scheduled to air on October 13. The instalment examines the rapper's rapid ascent from the tough Queens streets to building his G-Unit empire.
