Eminem, Kid Rock to appear at Hip Hop Honors

The event will pay tribute to the 25th anniversary of Def Jam Records. DMX, Ludacris, Fabolous and Gym Class Heroes are slated to pay tribute to Rick Rubin, who founded the label in 1984, Russell Simmons, Lyor Cohen, Jay-Z and Antonio 'L.A.' Reid.
Chris Rock and Jimmy Fallon have also been confirmed as presenters of the show.
According to Rolling Stone, the event will include never-before-seen interviews and archival footage of the label's past.
The ceremony will be hosted by 30 Rock star Tracy Morgan and will take place at Brooklyn’s Academy of Music Opera House on October 13.
