The 'Bodies' singer told Capital FM that his collaboration with producer Mark Ronson will not appear on his upcoming album Reality Killed The Video Star.
Williams said: "We've done a tune together, but I'm rapping on it, and Robbie shall not rap. It's alright being Neil Tennant, I can nearly pull that one off.
"In general, these are the people I wanna be; Neil Tennant, Mick Jagger, Tom Jones, all of the goodies I can do."
He added: "But Robbie, thou shall not be Jay-Z, and it's just a shame, because I do wanna be him."
