Snoop Dogg has been named as the new creative chairman of EMI's Priority Records.

The rapper will executive produce Priority releases to celebrate the label's 25th anniversary in 2010, Variety reports.

He is also planning to release his next album, Malice 'N Wonderland, on the label.

Priority Records is home to hip-hop acts such as N.W.A, Eazy-E and Ice Cube.
