Yesterday, it emerged that Jaime Jay had capitalised on the success of the boyband's chart-topping single 'Beat Again' by recording her own version 'Cheat Again', which appears to brand her former lover a womaniser.
The track has now provoked a backlash from supporters of Humes on YouTube, where it has been posted by Jay under the name JLX.
Writing in response to the song, one fan warned: "This sucks. Wtf were you thinking when you did this? That it mite help you make a few thousand well sorry babe you've just gained yourself a lot of haters (sic)."
Another added: "This is crapp what a sadd weirdo get over it yeah? God, even if he did cheat cant blame him, look at him, thenn look at yourself babe."
Other messages posted on the site branded Jay "jealous", a "bitch" and a "slag".
Not all JLS supporters were annoyed about the recording, however. One commented: "I'm a huge JLS fan, but I still think this is funny. Ye know, she's a smart girl if she's using their own song against him."
'Beat Again' topped the UK singles chart in July.
