Since acquiring the rights to Death Row Records earlier this year, WIDEawake Death Row Entertainment has promised to put out exclusive music from the label's back catalogue.
The company has now revealed the tracklisting for an upcoming album of previously unreleased material from the West Coast rapper, who was recently named as the new creative chairman of EMI's Priority Records. Snoop Doggy Dogg: The Lost Sessions Vol. 1 will be available from October 13, HipHopDX reports.
Earlier this month, WIDEawake announced plans for a similar album of Dr. Dre material. The label will release The Chronic Re-Lit along with an accompanying DVD titled From The Vault.
WIDEawake Death Row CEO Lara Lavi said of the release: "The Chronic Re-Lit and From The Vault are a celebration of the groundbreaking iconic legendary producer Dr. Dre, one of West Coast rap's foremost artists Snoop Doggy Dogg, and the sound, lyrics, social commentary and life stories of the original 'Boys From Tha Hood'."
