The concert, which was to be held on September 26 at Schoenbrunn Palace in Vienna, could not secure enough top name artists, according to organiser Georg Kindel.
"Maybe we underestimated these issues," said Kindel. "It was very difficult to put up the show, which normally needs six months.
"Due to this fact, we decided to reschedule the event for the first half of June 2010, but not in Vienna, in London."
Earlier this week, Kindel and Jermaine announced a lineup which include Mary J Blige, Chris Brown, Sister Sledge and Akon. However, there have since been reports that Blige and Brown would not be able to make the event and that neither were officially signed up to perform.
Jermaine denied the claims at the London press conference on Wednesday and insisted that stars such as Stevie Wonder, Maroon 5 and R Kelly would be added to the bill.
