The rapper, who participated in the infamous Bruno stunt at the MTV Movie Awards in June, has not yet revealed whether he will perform or present an award.
According to Reuters, the event will house an array of presenters that include "Megan Fox, Jimmy Fallon, Jennifer Lopez, Shakira, 50 Cent, Jack Black, Andy Samberg, Kristin Cavallari, Pete Wentz, Gerard Butler, Tracy Morgan, Adam Brody, Jamie-Lynn Sigler, Alexa Chung, Ne-Yo, Nelly Furtado and more".
The ceremony will also pay tribute to Michael Jackson with a highly anticipated opening performance from his sister Janet.
The 2009 MTV Video Music Awards, hosted by Russell Brand, will be shown on MTV at 9pm on Monday.
