Pink 'blasts Kanye for VMA rant'

Pink has revealed that she wishes she had won Taylor Swift's VMA award so she could have challenged Kanye West for protesting that Beyoncé should have won instead.

The rapper shocked the audience at New York's Radio City Music Hall when he stormed the stage as Swift accepted the award for best female video - her first ever MTV VMA trophy.

Although West has since apologised for the incident, Pink blasted him via her Twitter account, saying: "Kanye West is the biggest piece of s**t on earth. Quote me."

She added: "I was there. It was the one time I really, really wished I would've won because I had this amazing Alexander McQueen purse with brass knuckles on it. Honestly, I don't think it would've happened if I was there. But Taylor Swift is awesome... I think he's just a waste, he's an idiot, he's a toolbox."

As previously reported, Kings of Leon and Katy Perry have also posted messages online mocking West's rant.
