The Slits confirm new album, UK tour

Trapped Animal will be released on October 5 and is the follow-up to 1981's Return Of The Giant Slits.
The band's current lineup features original members Ari Up and Tessa Pollitt together with Anna Schlute, Adele Wilson and Sex Pistols drummer Paul Cook's daughter Hollie, who will support the album with a UK tour.
The full tour dates are as follows:
- October 7 - Colchester, Arts Centre
- October 8 - Liverpool, Korova
- October 9 - Cardiff, Ifor Bach
- October 10 - Brighton, Concorde 2
- October 11 - Sheffield, The Corporation
- October 12 - Manchester, Deaf Institute
- October 13 - Glasgow, Stereo
- October 14 - Birmingham, Rainbow
- October 15 - Southampton, Talking Heads
- October 16 - London, ULU
