The Slits confirm new album, UK tour

The Slits have confirmed the release of their first album of new material in over two decades and a supporting autumn tour.

Trapped Animal will be released on October 5 and is the follow-up to 1981's Return Of The Giant Slits.

The band's current lineup features original members Ari Up and Tessa Pollitt together with Anna Schlute, Adele Wilson and Sex Pistols drummer Paul Cook's daughter Hollie, who will support the album with a UK tour.
