The rapper-turned-actor, who was announced as the lead of the spinoff series in February, recently recorded 'NCIS: No Crew Is Superior' - his first new music since 2008 album Exit 13.
On the show, he and co-star Chris O'Donnell play special agents that apprehend elusive criminals who pose a threat to national security. The 41-year-old said that he based his new song on the experiences of his Sam Hanna character.
He told TV Guide: "This song is the musical interpretation of what I felt after meeting with NCIS agents, experienced Marines and Navy Seals. It represents the collective energy in the room. I was so inspired I wrote the song on set."
NCIS: Los Angeles debuts on Tuesday, September 22 on CBS.
