Speaking to Simon Lederman on BBC London 94.9, Tito recalled the first time he, Jackie and Jermaine heard Michael sing as a 4-year-old.
Tito said: "We started doing harmonies and singing our favourite Motown songs and Michael and Marlon used to try to come in and join us and we'd kick them out.
"We wouldn't even give them the chance to open their mouths because we felt this was big boys stuff. Here we were, we were only 9, 10 and 11 ourselves."
He added: "Michael Jackson has always been amazing, even at that time. We didn't know it until we were invited to come see him perform at a school play and he had a song that he was singing.
"I can't remember the song but we heard him sing and our mouths flew open. We couldn't believe it! We immediately rushed him home and he was in our next rehearsal working with us. He was just born with it."
Last month, Tito announced that he will sing his late sibling's songs on his solo UK debut tour in support of Gladys Knight.
