Three police officers were assaulted in the affray, which took place at the MTS Centre on Sunday, Gigwise reports.
The violence is believed to have started when fans left the venue following the end of The High End Of Low star's set.
Winnipeg police constable Blair Good said that a group of people had reacted angrily when officials attempted to stop them wandering through traffic.
The scene escalated and backup was called after other Manson supporters joined in the altercation. The clashes later led to five arrests.
This is not the first controversy to be sparked by the musician's latest tour - a Christian protest group recently staged demonstrations outside his concert in Los Angeles.
