The 'Gold Digger' trio, who also got together through an advert placed in newspaper The Stage, insisted that they have the same energy as their predecessors.
"We loved the Spice Girls as they were fun and energetic and that's what we are all about. It's about having a laugh," singer Sophie King told the Daily Star.
The group, who debut single 'Gold Digger' reached number 46, also revealed that they are writing with Scouting For Girls in a bid to improve their chart success.
"We are getting ready to get in the studio and do some writing with Scouting For Girls," Lucie Kay said.
Dolly Rockers release 'Boys Will Be Boys' next month.
