Oasis and Arctic Monkeys are among the acts nominated for this year's Q Awards.
The Sheffield four-piece have picked up four nominations included best live act, best single and best album for their third LP Humbug.
Alex Turner's band are also in the best act in the world today category alongside Muse, Coldplay and Oasis.
Oasis's second nomination is in the best live act category, which also includes U2, The Prodigy, Kasabian, Take That and their former Britpop rivals Blur.
Meanwhile, Florence and the Machine, Lady GaGa, La Roux, Mr Hudson and Pixie Lott will all battle it out for the breakthrough artist title.
"The Q Awards prides itself on honouring the best popular music of the year and the 2009 vintage is no exception," said Q editor-in-chief Paul Rees. "Once again the nominations prove that great music continues to be made across a broad range of styles."
The Q Awards will take place on October 25 at Grosvenor House on London's Park Lane.
