Their track 'Boom Boom Pow' climbed to the top of the Billboard Hot 100 in April, notching up 12 weeks at number one before being replaced by the group's follow-up single 'I Gotta Feeling', which has remained at the summit until now.
Behind Black Eyed Peas, Jay Sean remains at two with 'Down', while Miley Cyrus holds steady at three with 'Party In The USA'.
Meanwhile, Cobra Starship's collaboration with Gossip Girl actress Leighton Meester, 'Good Girls Go Bad', returns to the top ten this week.
Notable gains outside the top ten come from Lady GaGa, who leaps from 44 to 18 with 'Paparazzi', and Beyoncé, who climbs from 39 to 33 with 'Sweet Dreams'.
