The 'Bodies' singer, who quit the group in 1995, confirmed plans to join the band for a one-off show in aid of Children In Need at the Royal Albert Hall.
"Yes, something is finally going to happen. Me and Gary have been hanging out a lot lately, talking things over," he told The Mirror.
"It's been absolutely amazing. I've always wanted to be in a band ever since we split."
Popstar Mika, who is also expected to perform at the charity event, admitted his excitement at Williams rejoining his former bandmates.
"It would be great. I'm a real fan of Robbie and I really like his new single," he said.
Williams releases 'Bodies' on October 12. His album Reality Killed The Video Star follows a week later.
