The X Factor judge confirmed that she has already started writing songs for a new album, expected to be released next year.
"I'm playing around with some tracks that are hot, and some producers I have wanted to work with for a long time," she told Heat.
"I haven't had a proper chance to meet with Freemasons in the studio, but I want them to be part of it.
"Music has been a part of my life for a long time, and if the right song comes up, then it'll be all systems go."
Minogue has not released any new material since 2007 Jason Nevins collaboration 'Touch Me Like That', which peaked at number 47.
Freemasons, made up of Russell Small and James Wiltshire, have previously produced material for Beyoncé, Kelly Rowland, Sophie Ellis-Bextor and Kylie Minogue.
