The reality talent judge made the comment on her official blog, where she also posted a video of the band sending up the show during a recent live concert.
Frontman Chris Martin held a mock conversation with a montage of Simon Cowell clips from programme, with the panellist seemingly describing the band's performance of 'Yellow' as "a complete and utter nightmare".
Martin said: "What? We were just having a 55,000 person singalong!"
Cowell apparently responded: "I don't care what you were trying to do, it was just horrific. The song was atrocious... even the hair."
The crowd and Martin then sang another verse which was followed by a Cowell clip proclaiming them to be "bloody fantastic".
Minogue said: "It's all about having the last word, hey Simon! Coldplay - come perform on X Factor. We love you!"
