Kasabian 'won't try and break America'

The group, whose album West Ryder Pauper Lunatic Asylum topped the UK album chart in June, claimed that they don't expect to achieve the same level of success Stateside.
"Most British bands are struggling in America, unless you're Coldplay or U2 or God-rock," singer Tom Meighan told the Daily Star.
"I think we're a bit too dangerous for them. It used to be the golden area, but I'm not that arsed," bassist Chris Edwards added. "You can't spread yourself too thinly."
The band recently stated that they are "ready" to take over from Oasis as the UK's most successful rock band.
