Lily Allen 'nearly s*** herself on stage'

Lily Allen has revealed that she once nearly soiled herself on stage because she had chronic diarrhoea.

The singer admitted that she fell ill with a stomach bug ahead of the show in the US, but struggled on and performed a full set before rushing to the bathroom to relieve herself.

"The worst [thing to happen while on tour] was being on stage in Seattle two years ago and I came down with diarrhoea but I still went on," she told Q magazine.

"I was desperate for a poo the whole way through. At the end of the show I went to the toilet and it would not stop.

"The crowd were going, 'Lily! Lily!' for an encore. I didn't feel I could send anyone out and say, 'Will you lot shut up, she's having a crap', but that was the truth."

Allen recently announced two co-headlining shows with Dizzee Rascal in Manchester and London next year.
