The singer, who is expected to launch a solo career following her departure from girlband Sugababes, features on Sean's track 'Far Away', which is included on his upcoming album.
Despite limited recent success in the UK, Sean has amassed a significant profile Stateside after spending three weeks at number two on the Billboard Hot 100 with his single 'Down', which has already shifted over one million downloads.
Earlier this year, Sean confirmed that he had also worked with Girls Aloud singer Nadine Coyle on his first new album since signing to US label Cash Money.
Meanwhile, R&B star Ne-Yo recently expressed an interest in working with Buchanan on her solo material. 1Xtra DJ Tim Westwood has also revealed that he would "definitely" consider playing her new material.
