The Wu-Tang Clan rapper was performing a free show at the Hiro Ballroom in Manhattan when trouble flared between a number of his associates who were standing at the back of the stage, Angry Ape reports.
The dispute soon turned physical, prompting Ghostface to stop the music and demand the men involved continue their argument backstage.
The star then turned to the audience and said: "[It's] your own f**king people who make you look f**king stupid."
Security proceeded to intervene and soon restored order. Before leaving the stage, Ghostface apologised to his fans further, saying: "Pardon me, those were my n***ers. They [are] on some other s**t."
Wu-Tang Clan's RZA recently refuted refuted claims made by Ghostface that he owes the rest of the band royalties.
