N-Dubz star Dappy has criticised JLS for being a "manufactured" band, claiming that they had an easy rise to fame on The X Factor.

The 21-year-old rapper insisted that N-Dubz are more credible because they had to work their way up from the bottom.

"I spent years writing lyrics in my bedroom with no-one hearing. Now people are singing them back to me. JLS don't know what that's like," he told The Sun.

"I've got nothing against them, they've done well for themselves. But I just think it's different to us, who have worked our b*****ks off.

"At the end of the day, they're a manufactured band. They just sing other people's songs. And they were miming."

Both JLS and N-Dubz scooped two awards each at the MOBO Awards earlier this week.

It has since been reported that that the two groups fell out after Dappy criticised JLS for miming during their performance at the ceremony in Glasgow.
