Lady GaGa to tour without West

Lady GaGa has confirmed that she will be going on tour alone, after her joint venture with Kanye West was scrapped.

In an interview before Billboard's Women In Music event on Friday, the singer said that she was not planning on taking a break.

The AP revealed that the 23-year-old had come to a joint decision with West about pulling the plug on their North American shows.

"We mutually decided to cancel the tour. He's going to take some time off, but I'm not," she stated.

GaGa and West's series of shows - called Fame Kills - were due to get underway on November 10 in Phoenix.

Lady GaGa's solo tour is scheduled to begin next month.
