Breakfast show presenters Johnny Vaughan and Lisa Snowdon announced that Tinchy Stryder, Lily Allen and Noisettes will also play at the event, while further acts will be unveiled over the coming weeks.
According to the station, tickets for the show at London's O2 arena sold out in less than an hour following unprecedented demand over the weekend.
"Every year, Capital is building on the last, giving the listeners exactly what they want and bringing some of the biggest names in hit music to London," global founder & group CEO Ashley Tabor said in a statement.
"Last year's concert at O2 was hailed as one of the best live music events in the capital for a decade. This year it will be even better, and we are thrilled at the amazing audience response!"
The Ball supports Capital's flagship charity Help a London Child, with a donation being made from the proceeds of the event.
Last year saw performances from Pussycat Dolls, Sugababes, Will Young, Boyzone, Alphabeat, James Morrison and Craig David.
