The 30-year-old was assisted by Blink-182 frontman Mark Hoppus, who Fall Out Boy were supporting at the concert.
Before the group performed 'Saturday', Wentz went up to the microphone and said that he was "going to need a drink" as Hoppus walked on stage.
"So you guys know Jay-Z's 'Death Of Auto-Tune', right?" he then asked the audience. "This is the death of emo haircut."
Hoppus proceeded to shave off Wentz's hair, leaving him with a crewcut by the time Fall Out Boy had finished playing 'Saturday'.
