Furtado: 'Timbaland brings out my best'

Furtado worked with the R&B producer on her 2006 album Loose, which sold more than ten million copies worldwide after spawning the hit singles 'Maneater', 'Promiscuous', 'All Good Things' and 'Say It Right'.
"Yeah, [that album] was a bit of a turning point for us both. I think he and I came from a similar mental place before we started recording the album.
"We were both listening to a lot of electropop and rock bands and it was just really kinetic and meant to be," she told DS.
Furtado did not collaborate with Timbaland on her new album Mi Plan, which she recorded entirely in Spanish, but she has recently begun working on new English-language material with the producer.
"Yeah, we've been doing some jammin'. There's nobody who moves me quite the same way as him in the studio. He makes me step up my game and do my best," she said.
