The 18-year-old, who is expected to top the chart with 'Oopsy Daisy' on Sunday, said that he has huge respect for the soul singer.
"She's an amazing talent. I went to watch her live two weeks ago and the hairs on my arms were literally standing up. Her voice is just absolutely amazing," he told Alex and Lucy on Key 103's IN:Demand.
"When she said she wanted me to feature [on her single], I was like, 'Hey man, let's get it bopping'. She sent the track over. I put a verse down and we're going shoot a video soon for it.
"She's a super-cool woman. She's been in the game for about 15 years, since I was about 3, and I don't know how she does it but her voice is absolutely amazing."
The rapper added that his new album I Am Chipmunk, which is released on October 12 and includes collaborations with N-Dubz and Tinchy Stryder, should be viewed as a "time capsule" of what is happening in British music at the moment.
