Former Australian Idol contestant Mauboy, who has never been given the ARIA nod before, has scored seven nominations in categories such as 'Best Female Artist', 'Best Pop Release', 'Breakthrough Artist' and 'Highest Selling Australian Album'.
Empire Of The Sun pair Luke Steele and Nick Littlemore have also been nominated for their first album, 'Walking On A Dream'.
Other artists such as Ladyhawke, Lisa Mitchell, Sarah Blasko and Eskimo Joe will fight it out in other categories.
The event will be held at Sydney's Acer Arena on November 26.
