Elvis Presley's teenage grandson has landed a five-album record deal worth $5 million (£3.1 million).

Benjamin Presley, who is the son of Elvis's daughter Lisa Marie, has apparently already started work on his first album, which he hopes to release next year.

His spokesperson said: "The music will be nothing like Elvis, nothing like him at all. He's a typical teenager. He doesn't get up until noon then grunts at you."

The 16-year-old is the product of Lisa Marie's marriage to musician Danny Keough. The paid also had daughter Danielle Riley, now a successful model, before divorcing in 1996.

Lisa Marie later married and divorced both late singer Michael Jackson and actor Nicolas Cage and now has twin daughters with current husband Michael Lockwood.
