The pop singer, who recently teamed up with Freemasons on 'Heartbreak (Make Me A Dancer)', posted a message on her official website updating fans on her progress.
"As Sophie continues to work hard in the studio, she's been jetting off to LA and Sweden this month to add a few special touches," the statement reads.
"Working with some of the biggest names in the business, Sophie has got together with Greg Kurstin, who added the sparkle to Sophie's 'Catch You', Kylie Minogue's hit single 'Wow' and some of Lily Allen's top tracks.
"Hitmaker Andreas Kleerup has also been working alongside Sophie, who you will know as the man behind Robyn's smash number one record 'With Every Heartbeat'."
Ellis-Bextor previously revealed that she has worked with Calvin Harris, Metronomy, Freemasons and Liam Howe on the follow-up to 2007 album Trip The Light Fantastic.
