Jay-Z 'inspired by George Michael'

Speaking to Ian Brown for an NME interview, the rapper listed some of his heroes.
He mentioned John Lennon and The Beatles, before adding that he had been inspired by Michael.
"He was really strong in the neighbourhood," he explained. "He penetrated urban culture really strong. I don't know if it was just the tracks or the melodies."
Jay-Z recently said that he would like to work with Liam Gallagher.
