Powderfinger to split after tour?

The group, let by frontman Bernard Fanning, have reportedly made arrangements for a final tour next year after the release of their last album together.
Manager Paul Piticco, who confirmed that Powderfinger are currently booking shows in Australia and abroad, told the Courier Mail: "I have had 20 journalists ask the same thing every time we are about to launch a tour or an album over the last few years. I can't imagine they would be [splitting]. That's news to me."
However, another music industry insider apparently said that the band have "come to the end of the road" after 20 years together.
The source said: "There's no bad blood at all. They're family men now. They have kids... they're moving on and I think they just feel like they've achieved all they can."
Fanning is believed to be keen to build on his successful solo career.
