GaGa covers John Lennon at gay march

Lady GaGa reportedly gave a special performance at the Human Rights Campaign official dinner on Saturday night, with support from President Barack Obama.

According to Contactmusic, the 'LoveGame' singer sang John Lennon's 'Imagine' on the eve of a gay rights march in Washington.

GaGa previously posted a message online urging her fans to attend the event, before taking part in the demonstration outside the White House.

Obama told the audience of his future reform plans to allow homosexuals to join the US military, after joking: "I'm honoured to be opening for Lady GaGa tonight."
