However, the bassist and singer said that he was unsure whether Charlie Simpson would be involved in any reformation, admitting that he didn't enjoy working with the guitarist during their final months as a band.
"Right! Busted! In answer to when we are getting back together... I honestly don't know! But I like to think we have serious unfinished business," he wrote on Twitter.
"I don't know if Charlie would do it or not and I don't really care! Charlie was not fun to be in a band with towards the end. And I'm not sure I would want to be in a band again with him! I do still think Charlie is a cool guy but just made things a bit miserable."
Busted scored eight Top 10 hits between 2002 and 2004 with tracks including 'What I Go To School For', 'Sleeping With The Light On' and 'Year 3000'.
Following their split in 2005, Simpson joined rock band Fightstar, James Bourne formed pop-punk group Son Of Dork and worked as a songwriter, while Willis won I'm A Celebrity... and launched a brief solo career.
