Evans: 'I've heard better than Boyle'

The West End star, who finished fourth in the 2007 series of the ITV1 singing contest, claimed that Boyle is not her "cup of tea".
"Ooh, I'm not getting into this. She's not for me. I've heard plenty better. Then again, I've heard plenty better than me," Evans told DS. "But no, the voice is not for me.
"If you took Susan Boyle away from the voice and played the voice in another room, and didn't know who it was, I think you'd be really shocked. I'm not getting into this, but it's not my cup tea."
Boyle releases her debut LP I Dreamed A Dream on November 23. The record includes covers of 'Wild Horses', 'Daydream Believer' and 'Silent Night'.
