The country singer, who confirmed that she was divorcing Sheremet after seven years of marriage last month, claimed that the record will reflect personal changes in her life.
"Most of the stuff I've written myself, so it's definitely my life. The subjects of the tunes are down the middle between heartbreak and love," she told People.
"Part of my therapy is to write. I write with a lot of my best friends, so most of our meetings are therapy sessions that turn into songs.
"I'm great. I'm really happy and I am enjoying being back between Los Angeles and Nashville. With work and my personal life, everything's good. It really is."
The 27-year-old recently admitted that she refuses to read tabloid newspapers because of the negative stories they wrote about her alleged affair with Northern Lights co-star Eddie Cibrian.
